Dear colleagues,

We hope you are well and that we will see you at the end of August in Tallinn at PEVoC 14!

Although we are all worried and horrified by the Russian attack on Ukraine, we believe our international cooperation and the common work in our fields are now more important than ever. The community can support each other by coming together and not letting the world stop spinning.
So we will proceed with organising the conference and we plan to have a very fruitful PEVoC 14 conference in Tallinn.

Despite such an aggressive neighbour, Estonia is a valued member of the EU and NATO. Therefore, the threat level here is moderate and the situation is not much different from that of Finland, for example.

Also, COVID-19 restrictions in Estonia have been almost completely lifted. This year, Tallinn will host many postponed and new cultural, academic, and sporting events.

Our international Scientific Committee, our esteemed keynote speakers, and of course the local Organising Committee are working hard to bring this year's PEVoC to life, so please join us!
